Permits, Planning and Paperwork
Getting solar electricity installed can be a paperwork nightmare,
what with new technology for planning departments, lengthy forms
to fill out for rebate applications and rebate checks, and the stack
of paperwork required by utilities like PG&E to allow interconnection
to their electric grid. Happily for you, Sky Power Systems takes
care of all that. We:
- Handle all the permits required for electrical, roofing, and
structural
- Process the paperwork with the CEC for the rebate, and we'll
take that rebate check as partial payment; that means we wait
the 2 -3 months AFTER the system is up and running to get that
check, not you
- Fill out all the necessary forms with PG&E (or any other
utility) to get permission to interconnect the system to the electric
grid
- Take care of all inspections by the local building authority
and make sure they pass
- Schedule and attend the formal field review by the utility and
get their OK to commission your solar electric system for live
production and connection to their grid
- Fill out the CEC rebate claim forms for your approval prior
to submission to the CEC for our check
After all, what you want and need is a simpler, non-polluting,
inexpensive lifestyle, not a mountain of paperwork to climb - leave
that climbing to us!
